Vanilla Zuidam Old Genever (5y On Oak) Milk Stout. Soft smooth Vanilla Milk Stout, Infused with Zuidam Old Genever aged 5 year on American oak. Before infusion we put the Madagascar vanilla beans for 2 months in the Old Genever. The taste is soft smooth with vanilla, toffee, oak and chocolate. We used for the Black and Yellow the same Stout with Lactose

Tap. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is macadamia nuts, chocolate, very nice authentic nut character, vanilla. Taste is the same, quite balanced. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Tasty!

Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2019. A clear orange brown beer. Aroma of vanilla, oak, Chocolate. Taste of sweet caramelish malt, nuts, Vanilla, Oak.

Tap. Black indeed, offwhite brown lace, nice dry clean pastry roast aromatics, chocolates, pralines, dry notes, medium body, mellow, chocolate ganach, liquor, lovely balance.

Draft at Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, tonka, caramel, toffee and light coffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

From the bottle. Virtually black with a tan head that soon fizzes away. Aroma is vanilla, toffee, gin. Taste is sweet up front, full of sweet cream and gin on the backside. Body stays to the light side of medium, trends oily, rather mild carbonation after some initial fizzes. Overall, I like it.

Sampler from tap at Stadsbrouwhuis. Murky dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sewage, honey, some roasted malts, juniper. Flavour follows, it's weird and not very nice imho. Medium bodied.
