(Draught at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 23 Feb 2024) Reddish brown colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with bread, toast, orange peel and hay. Malty taste with notes of toast, bread, orange peel, grass and a mild herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Gravity pour at Zumen. Clear amber with off-white head. Grainy, some caramel, malt, grass, bread. Okay.

Swing top bottle, leaking just a bit. Brown color, hardly any head. Toffee, butter and a hint of licorice in teh aroma. Slightly sourish, buttery toffee flavor. Diacetyl, no doubt.Just a hint of pear. Dirty mouthfeel, but not an unlikeable beer.

Tap. Clear amber color with creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, juicy fruits, nutty. Taste is a bit cream, caramel, butter. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite musty.

Bottled. Clear nut brown. Bready nose with some coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark bread with notes of cocoa. Low-medium bitterness.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkronne. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, minimal würzig.

Thanks to jonas for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts mild, fine malty-dry notes, modest rusty. Not too scratchy. Light hints of caramel. Finish mild, but not washy. Not bad!

Bottle. Chestnut, low head. Grainy, roast, caramel, molassis and marzipan notes. Somewhat subdued cakelike start, ok aromatic hop balance. Medium to light body, ok chewyness, sparkly mouthfeel.
