(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium sized off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet and toasty malt aroma with liquorice and spicy herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a light carbonation. Dry and slightly caramelly malty taste with notes of liquorice; a bit slim, very dry and bitter finish. Classic by the style (17.02.08).

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Cloudy amber with a big, foamy white head. Aroma of grassy hops and herbs. Flavours of caramel and hay before a decent dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Copper brown, very small white head. Malty, sweetish, a bit herbal and ryeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy-hoppy with even chocolaty notes. Long hoppy grassy aftertaste. Very difficult to rate: is this cheap crap beer or complex and interesting lager? I presume this being latter.

Bottle: Light amber coloured; sweetish malty and fruity (plums, honey) nose; sweetish, malty (caramel) beginning, sweetish malty flavour (caramel), ending with a dryer, slightly bitter aftertaste, showing some traces of chocolate; smooth, well quaffable....
