BrewDog join forces with Mikkeller for another chapter in the New England IPA saga. Urban Fog takes the form of a juicy and tropical pineapple-forward 6.5% hazy IPA with notes of bright berry, sharp citrus and resin.

Can from the Brewdog online shop. Pours murky yellow to orange with a thick white head. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is fresh papaya, mango, lemon. Light bitter finish. Not as sweet as some NEIPAs, and all the better for it.

440ml can from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, light citrus, stone fruits, earthy mineral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can, 0.44l. Hazy orange pour, half finger soapy white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Mild on the nose, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, hints of vanilla. Medium body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, refreshingly fizzy, chewy, slightly creamy. Balanced bittersweet taste. Fruity aroma, tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit, citrus peel. Hints of vanilla, oats. Mild herbal touches in the background. Medium lasting finish, dry, bitter, lingering hop burn. Good.
