Keg at GBBF 2018. Low key yeasty aroma. Slightly cloudy gold. Fluffy white head. Some bitterness with a sweet core. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long finish. More interesting than a bog standard lager but that's not saying much.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimalyl lacing, white head. Mellow, minimally husky, malty aroma, a touch of honey and cereals. Taste is sweet-ish malty, mildly bitter, grassy hoppy counterweight, a touch of honey and cereals. Very clean, well balanced - nice.

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet, grainy and strong malt, straw. Taste of sweet strong malt, straw, some honey, grains, nothing special.

Würziger, süßlich malziger Antrunk. Leicht hopfig, knackig herb mit deutlich bitterem Touch. Die Süße ist mir einen Ticken zu stark, insgesamt aber harmonisch. Weiter malzig, was den Nachgeschmack mit deutlicher Herbe dominiert. 10/9/10/10/12/10

Keg at GBBF 2016. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, bread, orange sponge cake, apricot, cereal and light vanilla. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, peppery spice, orange peel, Cointreau, cereal and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good balance and drinkability.

Draft at The Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma of lager malt, cereal and some ripe fruit. Flavour of sweet caramel, orange and slightly stale malt. Finished with golden syrup, some grain and a somewhat metallic edge.
