Foamy white head on a highly carbonated pale straw coloured body. Malt, spiced & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back. Sweet citrus, spices, stone fruit & bubble gum tastes with a light malt undercurrent & tangy finish. A bit like an IPL - Good one,

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear yellow with a fluffy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with powerful doughy biscuits, white bread, white sugar, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Sweet and bready to finish, more white bread, basic doughy biscuits. Nice and rich bready character.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear straw yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, doughy white bread, toasty grains, cereal, straw, grass, biscuit, hay and airy malts. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, snappy, doughy malt support, biscuit, straw, freshly cut grass, twist of lemon, airy malts, touch of grain, cereal and cracker with a dry, crisp as finish. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, lively carbonation. Lovely stuff. Delicate and well executed. Effortless to drink, but also rewarding.

Bottle. StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Clear, straw gold. Thick and lasting, semi lacing, bright white head. Nose has grassy, leafy hop. Some sweaty yeast. Sweet cereal. Taste is a little sweet and grainy, with a leafy, grassy bitterness. Light to medium body. Foamy carbonation. Light leafy bitterness to finish. Nice enough, but the pils I just put away before this was easy more clean and refreshing.

50cl Fles van Brecht. Bleek-goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Aroma is iets zurig, grassig en moutig, oud witbrood. Smaak volgt, niet te zoet en redelijk bitter voor een Helles, vleug honing en moutzoetigheid in de nasmaak, droge bittere finish. Lichte body. Goed.

500ml bottle from Sophie's beer store: BB 2nd May 2021. Shared with my wife on the patio, 25th Apr 2021. Clean and clear golden body, white crust on top. Dry feel to this Helles, light maltiness in the nose and taste, mild hop bitterness. Nice in the afternoon sun!

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Fine hoppy background. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced. Not bad!

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. Deep gold in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Ripe, digestive malts, a touch of fruity sweetness and hay, some leafy hops and moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

500ml Bottle SophiesBeerStore.co.uk. Clear pale yellow appearance, good white head. Pleasantly sweet malt nose. Taste presents a clean lager character, nicely sweet, moderate carbonation, soft bitterness. Really great helles lager, nicely rounded.
