This version of Arise is an Imperial Stout aged in Weller bourbon barrels. You know what you're in for as soon as its' nose meets yours: chocolate, caramel and vanilla, all from the barrel - no adjuncts. Like drinking a caramel bourbon chocolate ball.

Bourbon, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Very sweet bourbon, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Very nice.
