50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 12.02.2018
Aroma has mint and some grassy hops. Also some cereal. Flavour has cereal, some malty tones, mint and grass. A zoigl on the malty side. Feels a bit old.

bottle, thanks to pivnizub! Hazy golden with a mid-sized head. Dusty, yeasty malty start, shy hops in the finish.

Bottle @ Bayreuth. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Caramel, grains and quite a lot of paperbag. Short paperish finish. Flabby!

Recht durchsichtig für ein infiltriertes Bier. In der Nase Heu, im Trunk überraschen kernig, crispy, Karamell, süß. Flacher Abgang, aber sehr süffig.

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a firm medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Slightly buttery caramel-malty aroma with grainy spots and shy herbal hops far in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly biscuity malty taste with caramel, grainy and a whiff of herbal-spicy hops, getting slightly stronger towards the medium-dry sweet and delicately bitter finish. 11.VII.16

500ml bottle [I hob des Glumbb vum Bartel griang, dänggschee!]. Minimally pink-ish, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Husky, slightly yeasty doughy aroma, fruity hints of orange. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally fruity, notes of hay, hints of orange, a protein touch, subtle sweetness; smooth and soft palate, slightly prickling carbonation. Very refreshing, well balanced, plain but not simple, unostentatious but effective.

Bottle: Deep golden, unclear, bigger creamy white head; sweet grainy nose, some faceless hops underneath; moderate sweet flavour with a mild, but well detectable bitterness underneath, medium bodied and a bit tart; slightly lingering sweet grainy and (burnt-) malty finish, balancing simple bitterness barely detectable. Not a great pleasure...
