Tap at HopDog. Cloudy, deep amber-brown with a low head. Nutty nose, toast, caramel, deep and rich. Very toasty, herbal, nutty flavor, wow. Light chocolate notes, with dry, burnt caramel. Fully bodied but dry and crisp, with low carbonation. Quite original and good Wiener Lager. Definitely one of the best in the style I have had.

Tap at HopDog! Coppery-amber body, off-white head. Buttery, caramel, lightly floral, grainy. Grainy taste, less buttery, bit flat, sweetish, lightly caramelly, vaguely buttery, slick. Not my type.

Herb getreidiger, leicht blecherner Beginn. Trocken, milde Bitterkeit, die sich aber schnell steigert. Spritzig, getreidiger und leicht hopfiger Abgang. 9/8/8/8/8/8

Clear deep amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of fresh caramelized dark reddish malt, nuts, biscuit. Taste of caramelized red malt, hazelnut, bread, spicy hops.

500 ml tap. Amber cloudy with a creamy head. Buttery, vanilla, hazelnut, wood, raisins, caramel, citrus notes, basement notes, grassy hops. Mild dryness, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty bitter finish. Very nice, very balanced, very Franconian.

Bottle @ Oberfranken. Pours copper with a small white head. Rustic and yeasty with a lot of rye-bread and nuts. Very promising but had a DMS issue. Cooked vegetables. Such a shame. Best before date was in 3 weeks, so probably not a fresh bottle.

On tap at HopDog München Monday 25th July 2022. Pours dark amber with a white head that fast disappears, malty with hazelnut notes, nice soft mouthfeel but a little mineral edge and even drying at the finish. A little caramel, good, very good.
