This series of four herbal beers is dedicated to the seasons. Each beer stands for a particular season, so you can drink your way through the year. In autumn we foraged bogmyrtle, which lend the beer its orangy and resinous aroma. This blend matured on average 10 month in red wine barrels.

Sensory Session #25: almost clear copper color and a tiny white head. Herbal nose, slightly fruity sweetness, acidic, something mint. Astringent, dry finish.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 15.02.2024) im 2021-07 getrunken. Dieses Gruit hat mit der leichten Kohlsäure auch eine kurzweilige Schaumkrone. Darunter hat dieses trübe Gruit ein orange Färbung. In der Nase ist eine fruchtartige Säure aber auch eine kräuterartigen Aroma was ich aber nicht einordnen. Am Gaumen fällt sofort ein kräuterartige Bitterkeit auf und im Abgang ein ganz sanfte minzartige Frische auf. Daneben auch hier ein feines Fruchtaroma mit eine leichte Säure. Ein echt spannendes Bier - toll!
