Little Earth Project is a small and unique brewery in the Suffolk countryside using a variety of sustainable practices to brew small batch, predominantly oak aged wild and sour beers.
Mire was brewed in August 2019 with LEP's homegrown malt. It fermented for sixteen months in cider barrels with both brewer's house cultures. The resulting beer was dry-hopped with whole leaf Goldings before seven months maturation in bottle.

Bottle, online from the brewery. Pours light hazed amber with the usual Mills tight foamy cap, beige this time. Aroma: musty, pear, cider apple, funk, oak, peaty hints. Taste: wheaty, dry, light to moderate acidic, sour apple, orange zest, oak. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Solid, if not my favourite Mills

golden color color. Big peaty oak, nose with some cider and apricot character. Slightly sour, peaty, dry malty. It’s got slightly too many things going on at once. Still I enjoyed this. Not in love with this but not bad.

Bottle split at DS, thanks to Dave, 29/09/22. Murky orange to light amber with a good sized dirty looking off white head. Nose is funk, bitter fruits, dungy, light spice, dusty wood, stewed fruits. Taste comprises sharp citric bite, acidic rip, peated notes, light bonfire, musty leaves, damp straw, earthy fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a puckering bite. Decent.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Dave. Pours unclear orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Lightly sweet, super peaty, lots of rubber, a bit of citrus, mellow tartness, tangerine. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Finishes with heavy rubbery peat, old tires, tangy citrus. Novel.
