Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, some chocolate, mild toasted tones with some vanilla and wooden tones with a bit of alcohol too. Flavour is chocolate, syrup, some vanilla, mild toasted tones with wood, alcohol and some slight whiskey sweetness.

Sample, thanks fonefan! (Double) Black, minimal head. Aroma of whiskey, licorice and treacle. Sweet with full to massive body and heavy, rounded mouthfeel. Licorice and treacle, whiskey and coffee. Warming bitter finish. The whishey barrel polishes a little away of the boldness of the the Double Black mess.
