Magnum at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Musty apples skins and old wood on the nose. Flavour has musty apple skins, some old books, a bit woody; phenols on a closer inspection.

1.5L magnum, pours a cloudy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out musty leather, subtle apple skins, and a touch of earthy funk. Flavour has tons of apple core, phenols, and moderate funk. Lots of rotting apple core and phenols. This isn’t good.

Bottle shared. Slight hazy golden with small white head. Sour apples, glue, funk, dry oak, soft tannins, suphur, smoke, citrus zest. Quite sour, medium bitter and very light sweet. Medium bodied, quite dry. Not very nice but it's drinkeable.

20 August 2022. At 12de Gents Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Pieter & the whole crew!
Hazy ochre, thin, off-white head. Aroma of unripe apricot, sour plum, quince, green apple, lemon, wet straw, sour cream. Taste has sour apricot, plum, quince & apple in a sourdough-like malt body, bit lemony with funky straw. Tart, lemony finish, sour grape, funky apple. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Decent blend, refreshing.

26/VII/22 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Ardenne Holiday, BB: 20/V/23 (2022-938)
Pretty cloudy blond to light orange beer/cider hybrid, no head. Aroma: lots of apple juice, funky, brett, dry, floral, chemical, a bit weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, dry, apples, bitter, quite some tannins, pretty sourish. Aftertaste: dry, tannins, pretty bitter, a bit metallic. Not so great.

Clear golden colour with no head. Nicely dry and woody. The base cider is slightly on the sweet side but it's a good mix overall.

Angenehm säuerlicher Beginn. Holzige Noten, milde Herbe, ausgewogen. Die Säure bleibt im unteren Bereich, erfrischend, sehr süffig. Langer Nachgeschmack. 10/10/11/11//11
