440ml can from Honest Brew. Cloudy orange-gold colour, moderate sized white head, leaves a lovely consistent top with lacing. Aroma is grains, yeast, lemon, bread. Taste is very sharp citric to the point of sourness. A very serious situation occurred during brewing. Bread, yeast and floral notes also present. I got used to the sharp citric element after a while but is a little overdone, intentional or not. I still found it perfectly drinkable but wont be getting another!

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, citrusy, some toffee and mild herbal tones. Flavour is super citric (almost acidic), with some toffee and herbs. Some kind of infection going on.

Can from the Vineyard, Belfast. First of a flight of 3 Pilsners from Boundary. Appearance - hazy yellow with a nicely proportioned white head. Nose - lemon and bready. Taste - more of the same. Add to that a yeasty / sherbet edge. Palate - light bodied, tangy middle and finish. Overall - the general feel of this was of one where the yeast produced a lot tang (more like a Belgian Blonde) than grassy bitterness (expected from a pilsner).

Canned, from Glasbanken. Clear pale golden, rich firm head. Yeasty lemon aroma. Tart with light body and clean mouthfeel. Citric and yeasty with some bread and hints of hay. Low bitterness. Infected, though with still 10 months to best before date.
