Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Picking up a lot of whiskey with caramel, toffee, dark malt, dried dark fruits, figs, molasses, some fudge, brown sugar. Flavour is sweet and a bit boozy. Full body, long sugary finish with plenty of whiskey. Very nice.

Aromas are molasses, prunes, dark malt, roast and a bit of cocoa. Flavors are similar to nose, soft carbonation and slightly more sweet than bitter. Alcohol is well hidden. Good but not great.

4/21 bottle. Pretty much black with a small tan head that hangs around a little while. Aroma has lots of whisky, grapes, brioche, some licorice. Silky, very sweet with brioche, grapes, carob, whisky. Some bitterness, not much oak. After a while maybe there's a little sourness to the grapes and more bitterness than at first. Still, a bit too sweet for me.

From a 33 cl bottle. Pours black with a big tan head. Aromas are of licorice and toffee. Flavors are sweet caramel. Delicious.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is rich and complex, with lots of whiskey barrels, caramel, butterscotch, and bready malt. Flavour is full of smokey whiskey barrels upfront, with bready caramel, butterscotch, toffee, and burnt sugars. Really nice whiskey barrel character that complexifies this beautifully. Excellent.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks tiong, at Arde, 20221021) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had whiskey, sherry wood, sweetness and malts. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were whiskey, wood, smoke, alcohols, sherry wood, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, malts, alcohols and bitterness. A bit too boozy woody brew.

Bottle at Ardes Residence, Helsinki. Bottle #6058/7000.Thanks tiong! Color is dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, whiskey, caramel, roasted malts... OK.
