Protokollført på høstmøtet i a/s Nor-Horn, hvor møtelokalet var Vippa. 0,44 boks: lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Fin kombo av milde urter, barskog og citrus. Mild bitterhet, gode greier her i solskinnet på kaikanten.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a glass tankard. Hazy pale golden colour, tall moussy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malys, grain, cereals, white bread, grassy and citric hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, cereals, grass, lemon peel, light spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, some cardboard, clean, crisp, very nice.

Canned Pilsener by Dok in collaboration with Sleeping Village in Oslo, intended as Northern German in substyle. Snow white, moussy, stable and closed head, misty yellow blonde robe with vaguely olive-greenish tinge. Aroma of freshly cut grass, raw green cereals, white bread dough, flour, raw lettuce, moist white pepper, touch of gypsum. Clean, rounded onset, sweetish cerealliness but dry in general, with thinly white-bready core and lively carbonation (if not too sharp); grassy hop character, bit peppery, soft and floral but consistently supporting the dryish aspect and balancing out the pale maltiness. Rounded, soft but very well-balanced Pilsener, but considering this softness, I would personally associate it more with the southern German (or even Czech) traditions than with the typically more ‘hard’ and bitter Pilseners of northern Germany.

21/X/22 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a (2022-1392)
Clear pale straw yellow blond beer, small creamy irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: clean malt bill, a bit fruity, yeasty notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity start, nice clean bitterness, grassy, hoppy, some unripe banana. Aftertaste: still a bit malty, banana peel, bitter and hoppy, some citrus, ripe pears, clean malty touch, pleasant crisp and dry lager, with quite a bit of fruity notes and complexity.
