A Best Bitter, for you, for me and for us. Chevallier, Crystal, Munich, Amber Malt and Torrefied Wheat provide a fine crunchy biscuit and sweet marmalade base with a clear and rich amber hue. A blend of whole leaf Bullion, East Kent Goldings and UK Cascade allow for a strong bitter line to run through the whole drink and throw bouquets of earthy blackberry, honey and gentle floral pine aroma.

Cask @ Melkebaren. Unclear golden body under a moderate sized, dense, creamy white head. Light in aroma, some malt, hint of biscuit, earthy notes. Taste is smooth, medium sweet malt, some mild generic fruitiness and moderate bitterness. Medium body with a rather short lasting finish. Plain but decent.

Can 44 cl. Pours a clear, deep nutty brown with an off-white head. Incredibly little aroma, a wee hint of nuts perhaps. Medium body, dry biscuit notes, dry toffee notes and a little hint of hops in the finish. Nothing technically wrong with it, it just has very little aroma or taste. But a sessionable ale indeed. 010822
