The CBC Cape Point Pale Ale. A perfect beer for lazy summer days, full of aromatic hop flavours. Fruity, lemony with a touch of passion fruit, lively and refreshing like swimming amongst penguins in False Bay

Bottle from Riksettan. Clear golden body, lively carbonation. Low cakey aroma. Lean soft dry body, bit citric, vaguely bitter, okay, drinkable. How did these get here?!?

[340ml bottle from the South African shop at Victoria Station] A bright amber pour with a loose white head and gentle carbonation; grassy aroma hiding some citrus; dry in the mouth with a touch of satsuma and tangerine; and then little in the way of a finish.
