A collaboration with 8 Wired Brewing from New Zealand, this beer is about showcasing their hops with ours. The crisp and light malt backbone allows the hops to shine. English Bramling Cross adds some spiciness and blackcurrant; NZ Kohatu and Pacific Gem bring tropical fruit aroma and flavour to the table.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is melon, gooseberries, very thin malt body in the nose. Taste is tropical fruits, grainy, a bit cheesy hops. Mineraly, almost chalky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Ok!

Pale yellow, thick white head, light, tangy citrus aroma. Not much sweetness in the flavour, there’s a bitter, very slight sour grassy flavour along with the hop and citrus. Lingering, airy aftertaste.

Bottle from The Library, Cowley Road Oxford, Wednesday 1st June 2016 Hazy light gold with a slim white head. Quite dry from the off, refreshing with lemon and blackcurrant combining well, but dry. Furry across the roof of the mouth, it’s a nice beer, its a very nice beer. Weirdly it’s getting a little sweeter three quarters of the way through. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma has a touch of snow and metal, fruity hints of berries, gooseberry, blackcurrant. Taste is biscuity pale malty, fruity hoppy overtones, notes of gooseberry, blackcurrant; a metallic touch in the finish.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazy gold. Film and ring of white head. Nose has light malts. Hops come across light and citric. Notes of strawberry. Some earthiness. Quite low key. Taste is earthy bitter. Light dry. Light body. More of the earthy bitterness on the finish, that rises and lingers.
