A collaboration with 8 Wired Brewing from New Zealand, this beer is about showcasing their hops with ours. The crisp and light malt backbone allows the hops to shine. English Bramling Cross adds some spiciness and blackcurrant; NZ Kohatu and Pacific Gem bring tropical fruit aroma and flavour to the table.

Bottle at home, 12/05/16. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed egg shell white head. Nose is earthy hop, light spice, grassy, bitter orange, toasted malt, vanilla essence, lemongrass. Taste comprises lemon kissed straw, big chalky mineral strokes, orange pith, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Ok APA if a touch mineral heavy.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold, highly effervescent, with a strong, fluffy white head. The aroma holds mellow citrusy hops, some white grape, dry pale malts. Light sweet flavour with hints of oily lime peel, some lemon, minerals, hay, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Relatively well balanced in the finish, with cleansing grassy bitterness, restrained sweet pale bread, more lemony hops, touches of oily lime, white grape, hints of berries. Quite enjoyable overall. It really grew on me.

Bottle from Hop Burns & Black. It pours hazy golden orange with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, soft, bready, juicy tropical fruits, blackcurrant, pineapple and jam. The taste is crisp, bitter, fresh, grapefruit, pine needles, grass, creamy blackcurrant, bread and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty and crazy refreshing. Very nice.

Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Airy dry malts. Hops bring mellow fruits and indeed some of the promised blackcurrant.. Floralness and marmalade ensue. Light semi dry finish bring a little hop spice. Tasty and well thought out.
