A soft bready malt and citrus nose on an amber body with a fluffy white head. Less going on here than expected, and this is a pretty fresh bottle. taste profile is soft citrus hops, some candied fruit and bready malt. Ultimately the fruity hops dissipate pretty quickly leaving malt and a touch of bitterness. Odd for 102 IBUs and 9% ABV.

From a 473ml can on 30/8/2025. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. The nose features, caramel, biscuit, bread and pine. On the sip, proceedings begin with a chewy malt backbone promised by the aroma - caramel, biscuit and bread, with a dash of citrus fruit sweetness. It's indeed a hoppy beast, with lots of resin and pine coating the tongue, and while, it's not boozy, you sense the beer's heft. Full bodied with a slightly oily, syrupy palate, and average carbonation. Really impressive.

Can. Almost clear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of sticky breadcrust, pine, kumquat. So it tastes - sweet caramel-tinged malt with pine and tenor register citrus. Resin and bitterness make it feel increasing dry towards the end. 9% is strong for what it offers but it's good.

Can. Amber colour with just a slight haze. Thin head. Has an orangey hop aroma. On the palate, similar hop profile, with some added pine. There's a biscuity malt character, and some alcohol in the finish. Lots of bitterness. So this is straight up old school DIPA, but not at all bad.

Ouderwetse dubbel IPA. Bergen hars, kneiter bitter, een stevige malty backbone zoals wij stoere bierkenners dat zeggen. Top!

Bottle. Golden color. Oily grassy aroma with herbal hops And a hint of mango. Malty sweet flavor, herbal with tea leaves, ripe mango and citrus. Hops may have faded a little, but still a very nice beer.

The Aromas are slightly old Hops and caramel malt. Flavors are like nose caramel sweetness comes out first with bitter growing stronger, hops have a little more resin coming out. Decent bitterness, good carbonation with a slight metallic finish.

Sampled from bottle @ Niilstrong birthday party. Hazy orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, lovely hoppy, heavy resinous and piney hops. Taste malts, hops, heavy resin and pine, resinous and piney bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Another great hoppy beer from this brewery.
