Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours tiny hazy golden with a rather small frothy white head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty, grainy and floral with freshly baked white bread, whole grain crackers, cereal, hay, lilacs, honey, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter, malty and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny crisp and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny bitter with whole grain crackers, cereal, honey, hay, dried flowers, minerals and lemon peal. Bit sweet but the malt base gives me goosebumps. This also works extremely well with fatty food (having it with some Fuet salami). Bottled, from Landbierparadies. Clear deep golden, rocky head. Spicy nose with Earl Grey tea. Mid sweet with medium body and soft, deep malt profile. Gentle, yet rich. Mouthfilling seemless flavour of dough, spice and tea. Long growing bitterness. A lager of extraordinary quality. Never had a bottled helles with this much depth.
