Can from Steve Oh.
This was poured into a tulip.
Appearance was a thick superb full on hazy burnt orange with a one finger white foamy head.
Aroma: bittersweet authentic pine balanced by a wonderfully citrusy hoppy blend, subtle white grapes, super clean bready malts
Flavor: superb blend of bittersweet through all the prior mentioned aromas, brisk clean piney/citrusy aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, mostly a sipper, moves stealthily along my tongue, kinda a white grapey finish
Overall: an absolutely awesome NEDIPA well worthy of returning to.

16 oz can in a trade with Clarkvv. Thank you!! The aroma smells nice. Oranges, white grape and bready malt. The flavor starts out with orange and white grape. Then transitions into heavy herb and pine. No reason but gosh dang that’s a lot of pine. I’m just not a huge fan of bold pine in my IPAs. Haven’t been since 2014.

Can (10/29/25) from ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Opaque orange juice, nice sparkle, decent head with fair retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tangerine, milder pine and herb. Taste is strong citrus, lesser grapefruit working hard with bready malt to keep alcohol at bay. Thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering bitterness and mild alcohol presence. Alcohol is just poking its head through but, If this is what 10% is like, I shudder to think what the 15% QIPA beast in my future is going to be like.

Canned 10/29/25, drunk 11/27/25, as pictured.
Herb? Scallion? Stone fruit and mild citrus for sure. Not too heavy on the intense, drying Galaxy, but nothing too exciting from the Galaxy either. Some mineral, some white wine, I guess. Malts are well-done; rich honey but nothing sugary or too intense. No alcohol noted.
Malty and rich with big honey character up front, drying out with Galaxy earthiness/chalk and some herbage. Not really getting any significant scallion, but this does have some bitter alcohol and slight hop burn. Galaxy is pretty ambitious in these giant IPAs, as it just seems to exacerbate the alcohol. Still, all that said, this is well-made and most importantly, not sweet or overtly boozey.

Pours a hazy, golden peach color, with big head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, some hop burn aroma. Flavor is smooth, sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Finish is only moderately hoppy. There's no alcohol or hop-burn in the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel.
