Pours amber with a one finger head. It smells of oak, maple, and malt with a little dark fruit. The flavor is sweet and quite oaky with maple and caramel malt. Quite good.

Can from Tavour in the DeMolen snifter. Pours extremely dark mahogany with a slight creamy tan head. Aroma is very maple. Full bodied. Flavor is toffee, yeast and lots of maple. Dark fruit. Not dry. Not quite sticky. Bitter? Not exactly, but there's something in it that goes that direction.

Can. Pours clear chestnut, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is maple, Candi sugar, Belgian spice, burnt caramel, special k bars, brown sugar. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light plus bitter. Merlin plus body.

Can shared with explosivedog: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is maple in a way that overpowers everything. Sure we could imagine the dark fruits and the like, but the maple just takes over and takes over hard. Still, it is a nice beer. The quad acts as a nice base, but the barrel gets all the shine.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown, patchy, fine head. Sweet maple aroma. Taste also features the maple prominently, very sweet, woody malty. Boozy warmth late. You could pour this on your pancakes.
