0.5 l bottle from 'Meibier.de', best before August 2023. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove and a touch of grains with hints of vanilla. Gently sweet, malty, quite yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove, some grains and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Kristallweizen, quite aromatic, way better than expected.

Blumiger Geruch. Geschmacklich haben wir Frucht, Getreide, leicht florale Nuancen. Auch bittere Noten kommen nicht zu kurz (bleiben aber noch im Rahmen dessen, was bei einem bayerischen Weizen üblich ist). Reichlich vorhandene Kohlensäure. Trotzdem süffig und trotz Filtration eine gute Substanz. Sehr ordentlich gemachtes Kristallweizen.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear straw yellow beer with excellent foam. Aroma: spicy wheat beer aroma, some cloves. Taste: noticeably spicy, with a hint of banana, refreshing.

Hints of banana, very mild with a neutral grainy finish. Easy to drink, hints of grain. Not bad.

Geringfügig hefiger Beginn. Geringe Herbe, weich, erfrischend, eher langweilig, geringe Würzigkeit. Kurzer Abgang. Okay. 10/8/8/8/7/7

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of herbal pale malt, wheat. Taste of wheat malt, herbs, some banana.

Damn lots of banana and a great lightness too. Smooth sweet stuff.
