On tap at the brewery. Wow one of the best kellerbier in Franconia. Fresh yeasty aroma then the malt then a lasting white pepper hop. It’s fresh well made outstanding of it’s type. Maybe not quite as good as Roppelts but a damn good kellerbier. Good to

(draught at the brewery) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly doughy and yeasty pale malty nose with subtle fruity notes, accompanied by hints of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Pale malt-character with notes of sour dough and white bread; bitter and delicately sweet malty finish with present notes of grassy hops. Solid Zwickel-Pils, but not really outstanding. 25.X.13
