Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a mild, white film head. Bland aroma, some cereal. Light sweet flavor with darkened cereal grains, bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, just some further cereal, faint toast. Not too good. I like lager and zwickel more specifically, but this beer just didn’t sing.

Amber-brown. Cloudy. Spicy, breadcrusty nose is fairly rustic. Rich breadcrust character with a very appetizing spicy hop finish. Robust example. Delicious. Really solid example.

Draught at the brewpub. A new offer. Comes out cloudy nut brown, small head. Perfumy roasty nose. Sweetish, but dried out by good amounts of grassy hops. Rounded, vital malty bck bone and long salty bitter finish. Fresh and tasty!
