Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a mild, white film head. Bland aroma, some cereal. Light sweet flavor with darkened cereal grains, bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, just some further cereal, faint toast. Not too good. I like lager and zwickel more specifically, but this beer just didn’t sing.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some herbs and mild wooden notes. Flavour is floral notes, and some grassy and mild sweet notes. Quite pleasant and refreshing. Spritzy carbonation.

Amber-brown. Cloudy. Spicy, breadcrusty nose is fairly rustic. Rich breadcrust character with a very appetizing spicy hop finish. Robust example. Delicious. Really solid example.

Draught:Copper coloured, hazy, creamy lacy off-white head; solid nutty, malty and barnyardy nose with a distinctive herbal-hoppy background; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, smooth MF; lingering bitter-nutty finish. Classy franconian stuff.........

Draught at the brewpub. A new offer. Comes out cloudy nut brown, small head. Perfumy roasty nose. Sweetish, but dried out by good amounts of grassy hops. Rounded, vital malty bck bone and long salty bitter finish. Fresh and tasty!
