This international collaboration honors our fallen brother Barnaby Sruve, and we feel this beer is worthy of his persnickety palate. Each brewery has brewed its own version of this glorious golden lager.

This libation to evil is best consumed out of a skull shaped goblet while listening to your favorite metal album and discussing the works of Bertrand Russel.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, slightly citrusy and floral. Pours cloudy golden color with thin creamy white head, nice lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy and yeasty, following is herbal and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth but dry, while finish is heavy bitter. can stigbergets barnaby Clear yellow, huge creamy head. strong malty aroma with flowery notes on top. flavor is malty, euro macro herbal hoppy lager bitterness, the malts and the bitterness work fine together. Tastes a lot like the traditional scandinavian gold beers like for instance guldtuborg or tuborg gold.

Lys brun lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter kneipbrød og smør. Middels fylde. Lett bitter. Smaker noe barnål, blomster og korn. Middels lang.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Bread, grass, mild herbs and some floral notes. Medium bitter.

6/XI/21 - on tap @ Bar Beenhouwer (Gent), BB: n/a (2021-1249) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing tonight’s beers!

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: grains, cow fodder, fruity, orange peel, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice and malty start, little metallic, bitter touch, some cow fodder. Aftertaste: sourish touch, malty, grains, cow fodder, hint of diacetyl, good stuff for a lager, not my preference though.
