Im Antrunk ist viel Kokosnuss und eine leichte Süßer vorhanden, der ebenfalls starke Kako bleibt eher im Hintergrund. Süffig, weich, der sonst sehr präsente Roggen trägt hier wenig zum Geschmacksbild bei - zumindest vordergründig. Süßlich bleibend, moderat getreidig, Süße und Kokosnussaroma bleiben klar dominierend. Vollmundig, Röstnoten fehlen zum Großteil. Erst spät ein wenig alkoholisch. 10/12/11/12/10/12

Aus der Dose (bbe 30.12.2023) im 2022-08 getrunken. Dieses Porter ist wirklich ein Scholaden-Kokosnuss-Monster. Dazu kommt das die Röstbitterkeit hervorangen einer sehr passenden Süsse ausbalanciert wird. Ein wunderbares Porter!

Can as Leviathan 2022, 11%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coconut and cocoa. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coconut, sweet, warming, cocoa, caramel and a little bitter.

330ml can, 2022 vintage. Very dark brown almost black, small tan head. Aroma of rich chocolate and coconut. Taste is rich, sweet, loads of chocolate, coconut, a little barrel maybe, a little booze as well and some roasty notes. Full bodied, smooth. Sensational porter.
