0,5l bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: gold, almost clear. A: malty, light grassy, bit herbal, citrus, iron. T: medium malty base, light citrus, orange touch, herbal, long lasting yet bit harsh bitterness, medium carbonation, ok for English IPA not for IPA as general.

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, citrusy, floral, elderflower and heebs. Flavour adds the pine and resin balanced with malts with a strong hint of tart stone fruit such as plum in the finish. Drinkable, light body, moderate carbonation, lasting finish. Low bitterness.

500ml bottle. Pours a gold amber with frothy white head that stays for a minute. Aroma of malt, hops and a little citrus. Medium body, slightly syrupy, zingy carbonation at first but then quite low after a while. Taste of malt, moderate sweetness, then a bitterness with a slightly dry finish. A little hoppy but more towards the bitter side. The alcohol does come through at 5.7% so I counter the written blurb on the bottle that it’s easy to drink, its certainly not a session IPA/bitter. Its a fine beer just a bit dull.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton Pours a golden orange with a good white head and good lacing. Is slow to settle. Nose is a mix of biscuits and malts. In the mouth it is predominantly oranges with some flowery hops, peel and just a hitn of “Burton snatch” (sulphur). Finish is bitter but restrained. This is a top notch Enlish style IPA, and very drinkable. One of my favourite Marston beers.

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out English bready malt and earthy hops in decent balance. Flavour reveals a decent hop punch for an English IPA, with earthy hops and bready malt in solid balance. Nothing special here, but it's not bad.
