500ml Bottle. Gold in colour with a thin white head; pronounced malt aroma, almost like a Speyside whisky; dry, smoky and silky smooth in the mouth; then a sour, bitter, and clean, aftertaste. A sipping beer.

Bottle: Faint honeyish malty nose, slightly toasted with a hoppy touch; deep golden to light amber coloured, thin, but stable white head; light bitter flavour, very light bodied; delicate malty-fruity finish with some bitter edges. Not really unpleasant, but too watery......

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty, deep golden colour with a small, creamy head. Rather light in body with hints of caramel and a discreet sweetness. Quaffable, easy drinking. Brewed only with Golden Promise malts - hence the "single" tag. A malt also once favoured by Scottish whisky distillers. 180701

50cl bottle from Morrisons. Not bad, but not good either and rather forgettable. Orange colour with thin disappearing white head. Bit o f toffee malt, but a bit dull due to its pasteurisation and some peppery hops. Bit thin in mouth and then some more peppery hop on end and a bit of orange fruit. Won’t bother with this again.Which is a bit of a shame as it was my 700th beer and I should have celebrated with something a bit better. Oh well.
