Nice yellow to golden colour, hence the name i guess. Smells like pilsener malts. Tastes like a bitter pilsener. Quite dry, active and bitter.

Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus, as Hooky Norton Golden Ale, 4.8% ABV
Hazy blond color, thin creamy head. Grassy aroma, earthy; not strong but pleasant. Good dry toffee flavor, with good hopping, lightly fruity. Very pleasant.

Bottle: Deep golden, a bit unclear, small - but stable and lacy - white head, hoppy - english peppery - dry nose with a juicy malty base; moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering dry hoppy-malty finish. Good, spicy session beer.....

Cask. Pours an almost clear golden with a dense off-white head leaving excellent laces. A little sweet malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body, low carbonation, fruity and minerally with a dry and hoppy finish atop a light sweetness. A pleasant quaffer. 190111

Flaske 0,5l fra K/Marked i Rovaniemi og delt med Rune og Cinnamongirl. Lys gulbrun. Lavt skum. Frisk fruktig aroma. Smaken har et visst søtt fruktig preg med en fruktig ettersmak.
