Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours a dark mahogany with a light brown medium head. Aromas of roasted malts, raisins, hops, liqorice, chocolate and pines. Taste is pretty strong and roasted. Good amount of chocolate and coffee. Alcohol is pretty well hidden though. Pretty strong fruity sweetness and quite bitter aswell.

Flaske 330ml delt med Rune og naboen på Nerstranda 4 Nov 11. Batch 3. Ultramørk rødbrun. Lavt litt farget skum. Nydelig lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er syrlig frukt & lakris. Godt balansert. Variert avslutning som toner ut som lakris. Toppøl!

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika and shared with Finn back home. Deep, dark ruby coloured body under a low, bubbly, tan-coloured head. Dark fruity nose alongside nicely roasted dark malts. Well blended taste of roasted dark malts and dried fruits, chocolate, liquorice, coffee, leather, pine and raisin. Solid malt-fruity ending. Oily palate. Full bodied. Lovely sipper (Tromsø 04.11.2014).

Draft. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, malt, alcohol, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, citrusy hops, and an odd note, leading to a bitter finish.

[From my backlog, Tasted @ El Lúpulo Feroz]. Black with an off-white head with medium duration and medium to poor lacework. Aroma has notes of fresh hops, some roasty notes, licorice and black chocolate. Flavor is bittery with good duration, notes of coffee beans and licorice. Easy drinkable with a final with a mild bitterness.
