500ml bottle from the LCBO.
Very slight malty aroma, some slight hops, nothing really special, smellls a tad bland. Flavour is a bit wattery, there are some nice hops in there, a touch of caramel malt, i agree with the distinction putting this under the bitter category, i find it a bit too weak on hops to be an IPA, the beer i just rated before this one, the ruddles county ale is an ESB, and its hoppier.

Bottle. Brownish-bronze color, noisy unstable foam. Aroma: malt and fruit, marmalade, a hint of toffee and flowers. Taste: fruit and malt, marmalade and jam again, a little caramel, soft hop bitterness, earthy.

Old rating. 500ml bottle. Smooth malty. Easy to drink with a nice grainy round smooth Ale body. Easy to drink, not too much bitterness, nice.

50cl bottle. Deep mahogany color, thin white head. Nutty, almonds, marzipan notes in aroma. Flavor has caramel, nutty notes, mild bready notes and biscuits. Sweet, but drinkable.

Dorada muy oscura, tipo red ale, bronce casi. Aroma malteado, igual que el sabor. Malta tostada, caramelo, fruto seco. Tira a dulzona. Y desde luego no parece una IPA. Ni en amargor, ni en lupulo. En cualquier caso se deja beber.

Reddish to brown colour, tall head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, grass. Medium body. The taste is well balanced betweem malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Grassy note at finish. Not a complex but decent beer.
