Bottle picked up from www.drankgigant.nl Webshop, nr Vlissengen, Netherlands and consumed at home Tuesday 18th May 2021 we had Asparagus and Meatball traybake for tea tonight. Listening to Tom Ravenscroft covering for Steve Lamaq on 6Music. Pours dark brown, slight murkiness with a mid sized off white head. Oaky with some roasted malts on the nose, a little boozy whiff also. Taste is a little unremarkable, not sure what barrel ageing I get maybe like some light bourbon? vanilla oakiness, a little boozy, dark dried fruits, ok but nothing special.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of chocolate, tequila, raisin, dates, caramel and molasses. Taste has raisin, caramelised malt, dates, caramel fudge, vanilla, soft molasses and a little booze. Soft mouthfeel. Really nice beer, very smooth and flavorful.

Bottle shared at THT ‘19. Hazy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of huge oak, boozy barrel, caramel, fennel and alcohol. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
