A traditional German Hefeweizen in its core, but with the addition of fresh coconut flakes for a taste of South Florida and its beautiful surrounding beaches.

Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: cloudy burnt orange color with a two finger white foamy head, moderately dissipated to leave subtle lace
Aroma: hefeweizen qualities of banana esters, sweet wheat, some bubblegum and then sweet coconut
Flavor: mostly sweet then some spicy yeastiness running in underneath, coconut becomes a lil' bit distracting
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability about it. The carb seemed at the correct level, delicate wheaty/bubblegum finish
Overall: I think this brewer wanted to do their take on a hefeweizen and I guess it works, so it's decent enough to return to, maybe.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of wheat, banana and coconut. Pours cloudy orange color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy with banana and coconut note, following is yeasty and phenolic, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. 16oz can from Total Wine - Boyton Beach. Poured a deep orange color, mostly clear. Medium sized white head. Really nice wheat with some pleasant shaved coconut! Really good shaved coconut flavor. Pleasant stuff.
