(Bottle, 0.5 l, from a Billa, 20180415) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, grass and resin. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, grass, toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had resin and bitterness. A pleasant and very resiny hoppy brew.

Bottle as flying cloud APA at 5.5%. Aroma: sweet malts, some fruity hops. Medium body. The taste is fairly sweet and moderately bitter. Robust malts with notes of caramel & burnt sugar. Floral and somewhat tropical hops. No case of elegance.

Clear brown appearance with thin head. Aroma and flavour are moderately hoppy but not too bitter. Also dark malts add a little sweetness. Nice session beer.

(bottle) Almost clear, amber colour with a firm and medium-sized off-white foamy head. Piney, herbal spicy and slightly fruity hoppy aroma with notes of bready malt, caramel and a whiff of cough syrup. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft, if not tame carbonation. Bready malt character with notes of caramel, backed by mainly piney, herbal and rather subtle fruity hops, including some exotic accents far in the background; quite lasting bitter-sweet and rounded hoppy and malty finish. Balanced and more-ish interpretation of the style. 01.I.17
