0.5l bottle from #07/14. Looks nice with a cloudy kinda golden yellow colored body and a medium sized white light lacing head on top. It's quite floral for a wheat. Orange citrus, mild gentle wheat sweetness combined with a faint sourness and apple cores. There's also a little bit of white cardboard here. All in all it smells quite alright. Thin oily, or almost a little watery in the mouth while the carbonation level is just above average. Nice sweetish wheat flavors. Mild banana yeast with some cardboard and that sourness is also detected in the taste. Easy to drink. Especially in the hot summer sun along side with pizza on a Friday. 18.07.2014

500 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow/orange body with medium sized white head. Aroma is a bit weak with wheat and yeast, but not much bubblegum or cloves. Flavor is mild wheat as well with more fruit than typical wheat flavor, actually slightly sour as well. Medium to light bodied and short in aftertaste. Drinkable, but not very impressive, could almost be a blond as a wheat as the distinct wheat flavors is not very present.

50cl bottle from CC Mat - Lillehammer. Pours hazy golden with a fairly modest white head. Mild wheaty aroma with some fruity notes, unripe bananas and hints of spices and yeast. Moderate sweet with some acidity and mild fruity flavours. Certainly drinkable enough, but on the boring side. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pipe Larsen Hveteøl on 09 Oct 2015 at 19:22 - Score: 6

Lett tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter hvete, trevirke, smørmaltdrops og noe sitrus. Litt syrlig, søtlig smak. Lett.
