330ml bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Nice appearance with its soapy, beige head, blanketing the glass, and its deep, ruby-red body. Malty aromas and flavours with hints of chocolate and brittle caramel, slightly roasted. Tolerable sweet. Discreet bitter ending. Medium bodied. Alright, rather monotonous, though (Tromsø, 21.04.2010).

Flaske 0,33l. Dyp rødbrun. Høyt kremaktig skum som fester seg til glasset. Svakt fruktig aroma. Smaken er avrundet.. Passe søt malt med en forsiktig bitter ettersmak. Et godt juleøl.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark brown color. Caramel and chocolate cake, slightly spiced in the soft aroma. Grainy sweet, spicy flavor with dried fruit and caramel. Anis in the aftertaste. Drinkable.

Bottled. A borwn beer with a thin light tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear orangey brown with a dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly sweet malt aroma. Medium-bodied, a little low in carbonation with sweetish roasted malt and caramel. Lightly bitter finish. 030608

33cl Can- An appealing spicy, fruity aroma which is quite surprising for a canned beer. Mild fruity taste, not too much flavour. Easy to drink and certainly doesn’t taste as strong as 6%.

Bottle. [Sinebrychoff Jouluolut IV - 6.0%] Very dark red / brown color with a small head. Weak aroma of musty yeast and some hops. Boring. Ok flavour, hops, nuts, ginger. Hops in the medium-long finish.
