Rustbucket, our trademark Rye Ale, now has a big brother, Black Bucket. This Black Rye IPA balances rye and roasted malts with fresh hop aromas and flavours. At 6.5% ABV Blackie is a little bigger in strength than his lighter sibling but we think he is every bit as drinkable.

Cremiger, leicht säuerlicher und röstig-hopfiger Antrunk. Trocken, geringe Herbe, Nuancen von Schokolade, getreidig. Würzig, röstig, langer Nachhall, in dem der Hopfen weniger relevant ist. 10/10/9/10/6/10

440ml can from Sipster, Newtownabbey, drunk at our Airbnb nearby. Pours pitch black, tan head. Cracking. Excellent black rye IPA. Brilliant pine hop pushing through a solid malt profile, measured rye sweetness, good bitter finish. Lovely.

On tap at Beer Temple. Near black with a thin, tanned head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, liquorice, toasted bread, citrus, and grasses. The taste is bitter roasted. Medium body. Drying, roasted finish. Nice BIPA.
