Bottle. Pours dark brown. Aroma is sweet, sweet hot chocolate, malt, coconut, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, chocolate, malt. Overalls: very good.

Sample from the bottle at RBESG 2017, Tallinn. Color is clear dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. OK.

Bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting. Very dark brown color. Aroma of rancid coconut. Taste is coconut and burnt rubber. Holy cow.

Tastes like lagered roast. Pours black with good head and lacing. Caramel. A little syrupy for my liking. Tap at Savor.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong coconut, oak, dark chocolate, wood. Thick, fudge, coconut, wood, very boozy, enjoyed this.

Draft @ FoBAB 2009, Chicago, IL. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coconut aroma with hints of rum. Roasted malty chocolate, caramel and coconut flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coconut finish with hints of rum and oak.

Draft. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Bourbon and light chocolate aroma. Light chocolate and malt flavor with light bourbon. Medium bodied. Light chooclate, light malt, and light coconut lingers.

Tap at the Bistro BA fest. At 6.5% Pours black with off-white bubbles. Deep dark chocolate aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is motor oil and chocolate. It finishes that way. The result is wonderful in the mouth.
