This German-style wheat beer contains salt as a special touch to a softly sour beer with apricots, lime juice & a touch of floral & spicy habanero peppers. A refreshing salty summer beer that makes ya thirsty for the next sip!
Gose is a German-style sour, both associated with the towns of Goslar & Leipzig. It's like a Berliner Weisse but with coriander & salt. The salt in this beer boosts the other ingredients, in this case lime & apricots.

27 September 2021. At Brugs Beertje. Cheers to Anke & my birthday!
Hazy yellow, stable, white head. Aroma of wheat, soap, mandarin peel, lemon, lime, yellow apple, yellow bell pepper. Taste has sweetish apple & apricot, wheaty & bready malt body, bit soapy with a salty-minerally effect. Spicy, peppery hoppy finish, some chili, countered again by soap, bell pepper note and salt. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Not bad but this beer wants to be too much at once.

Pours unclear yellow. Small white head. Scent is malty ( which is unexpected in a gose) . Bit citrus (lime) . Taste is full, sharp saltyness. Acidic (lactic acid) . The combo is quite damn sharp , even enhanced by the lime. Bit too malty for a gose. Strong intensity (sharpness!) yet fairly easy drinker.

330 ml. Bottle. Refreshing, very basic but also some strange almost vanilla sweetness which increased a bit over time, habanero or heat isn’t really here, low vegetable green bell pepper, okay-ish.
