Can. Pours hazy brown with thin but long lasting head. It has the usual biscuity bitter notes in aroma and taste but is painfully, terribly watery and thin. Meh.

Pint at The Plough - Rotherham. Clear amber pour with a creamy off-white head. Faint malty aroma, barely there. Taste is malty, nutty, sweet. Seems a bit then with an abrupt finish.

Cask at the Cricketers. Aroma of roasted malts and hints of toffee. Taste is malty but quite weak. Decent enough taste and it is what it is.

Can without the nitrogen: Also know as John Smiths Origibal Bitter,an amber coloured brew with some fruity taste and bitter finish. And now the can version with nitrogen: Draft like pouring and almost the same taste and appearance the original one.

Nagy, örökké tartó ekrü hab, áttetsző, barna szín. Karamelles, malátás, kissé fűszeres illat. A nitrogéntől lágy, karamelles, pörkölt malátás ízek. A Guinnisre hajazó, de annál visszafogottabb ízvilágú sör. Könnyű, nem szénsavas, alig kesernyés. Nagyon jól iható, könnyű, mégis telt sör.

Smooth creamy beginning. Easy to drink, toffee, caramel. Dry. Malty soft and slightly bitter finish. Very easy to drink, malty dry in the aftertaste. Refreshing stuff.
