F: thin, light tan, good retention. C: coppery, clear. A: toast, caramel, hint of buttery, malt. T: malt, caramel, nice grassy/floral bitterness, roasted tones, touch of dark bread, medium body, medium carbonation, not bad for me as well, 0,5l can from Farsons Direct shop in Malta.

Amber coloured liquid, opaque, creamy nitro head. Esters, caramel, solvent on nose. Light body. Dryish taste. Caramel. Some hop, that is away by finish. Mediocre

Can. Copper coloured with a decent head. Aroma of malts and caramell. Taste is caramell and a very small hint of fruity bitterness. Metallic and watery. It’s ok when nothing else is available but if there is I’ll definitely go for that.

I was really surprised to find I had never reviewed/rated this beer having drank it thinking I have over a number of years. Anyway I had two hand-pulled pints in two different pubs while in Filey, Yorkshire on 21st Aug 2016. Bog standard, but decent UK Bitter, brown bodied, full off-white head. More maltys notes in both the nose and taste than whatever hops are used, easy drinking session Bitter than looked after correctly can (and was on the 21st Aug) be well worth trying.

@oakdene forest, Ringwood, extra cold (yeah !), 1/2 a pint, light brown with creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, malts. Taste is very smooth, weak bitterness, weak sweetness, light beer with a caramel malty base, smooth head is very sticky, softly balanced, bitter aftertaste, not so special, still it’s nice cold ;) --- Beer merged from original tick of Extra Smooth Ale on 24 May 2018 at 15:52 - Score: 6

500ml can with widget. Pours red-amber with a creamy white head. Faint aroma if caramel. Taste is watery and a sort of bitter. Would probably be better with food.
