Tasting at Oakes' Manor, bottle
This has the shittiest cork, it disintegrated into dust, making the first pours unpleasant. Hazy blond colour. Aroma of cinnamon, spice mix, plastic, wax. Very sweet, with mild warming alcohol note; light spice, wax.
Pleasant sweet drink.

Clear pale gold. Pumpkin and spice. Pumpkin, spice and a long cinnamon finish. Decent.

375ml at Josh's roof. Appearance: almost clear blonde. Aroma: fermented honey, sweet, quite a few spices notes. Taste: sweet, very floral, lots of honey. Overall: interesting.

375mL bottle -- upon uncorking, the cork dustified and much of the dust settled in the mead -- what kind of corking job was this? Pours a clear pale blonde. Aroma brings out rich honey, pumpkin puree, seasonal spices, and some bourbon. Flavour is lush and complex, with intense honey, bourbon, pumpkin puree, and autumn spices. Sweet, pumpkin-y, and bourbon-y. Excellent.

So it's pale, and it smells like cinnamon and a bit of a pumpkin. Sweet, with a lot of cinnamon and gourd. I mean it's simple, autumnal. So good, goofy. But not bad.

Keg at Beaverex 2018 day one, 07/09/18. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a moderate white covering. Nose is sweet honey, caramel, light herb, sugars. Taste comprises liquid honey, cinnamon, light bourbon tickle, mixed spice, sugars. Full bodied, fine to oily feel, light warming booze at the curtain call. Not bad … not overly sweet with some spice balance.
Cool mead. Lots of pumpkin!

Fat på All In Beer Fest, sent pass lördag. Nästan helt klar, superljusgul nästan vit. Kryddigt med väldigt mycket kanel och pepparkakskryddor. Väldigt snäll bourbonton. Mycket sötma. Nja, inte helt min smak.
