Smell: sour grassy. Very soft in the beginning. Gets lost, not very round. Aftertaste too strong and does not completely match.

Pours a clean light golden, with an average sized white head, that shows decent retention and lacing. Soft but vivid enough aroma shows a hay/cereal base, honey, slight floral hops. Maybe a buttery hint too. Taste notes follow the aroma quite closely: hay/cerealish malts, slight crackery fragrance, quite vivid honey, buttery note a bit more vivid than the aroma suggested but still enough in check to be perfectly acceptable, plus a rather strong (per style) floral hoppiness. Overall medium to high sweetness and medium bitterness, with a slight sweet edge in the mouth and a balanced finish. Quite light bodied with medium to low, light bubbled carbonation, resulting in an easily smooth but lively enough mouthfeel. Failed to impress me in some specific way, but it was definitely a pleasant, slightly rustic interpretation of the style.

50cl bij Brecht. Licht troebel goudgeel bier, witte kraag. Geur is wat notering, lichte moerasgebied, wat citroenschil. Smaak is fris, citroenschil, verbena, licht moutig, ja hier word ik wel gelukkig van. Lichte body, toch redelijk vol mondgevoel. Lekker.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, yeast, citrus and fruits. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Blonde, cloudy. Apricot and mango in the aroma. The fruit is less evident in the flavor. There is a distant hopbitterness. Decent kellerbier without too much character.

Tap into a Stein. Creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy, juicy malts, bready, very typical Franconian minerals & hops. Taste is grassy, minerals, bready, quite juicy, but dry and hoppy in the back. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very good!

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Light hazy, golden colour, white foam. Bready, light sweet malty notes, some grassiness and light citrussy. A very enjoyable kellerbier.
