keg at mikkeller 2018 red... dark black.. thin tan lacing... Soft sweet coffee chocolate roast malts nose.. dark dry bitter chocolate coffee roast.. Light capsicum but no chilli finiy

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a nice dark body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, fresh vanilla beans, coconut, hazelnut and filberts. As it warms the coconut influence only grows. The taste delivers smooth sweet chocolate cake, vanilla, coconut and other subtle nutty notes. Nice. Smooth, loaded with flavor and just enough body to hold itself together.

Draught @ MBCC 2018. Pours hazy dark brown with small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, light coffee, little nuts, chocolate, cocoa. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 120518

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, liquorice, coffee. Taste is the same, light chalk. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Interesting.
