Donkergeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van banaan en wat citrus, kruidig en een ietwat prikkelende nasmaak. Heel goed.

Bottled (from De Biertonne). Orangeish golden colour, small white head. fruity and floral colour, small white head. Aroma is spicy, floral, some biscuits and mild grains. Flavour is grains, floral, biscuity, some toffeeish mild wood and earthy tones.

Hazy golden, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of apple peel, pear, hand soap, milk gone sour, cauliflower, 'putje' (the drain), old bread, rye, potatoes. Taste has sweetish apple, pear & some melon in a dry-bready, wheaty malt body that is slighty soapy and lends some sourishness but also points toward sour milk; gentle spicy rye note on the side. Grassy, floral hoppy finish, lingering unripe fruit, dry spelt, yeast and rye. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. There are some positives but it's destroyed by the messy whole - and the ugly label.

Hazy orange colour, medium-sized creamy off-white head and lace. Dull dry yeasty nose. Light-bodied. Pale malts, dry, light spiceyness. Meh.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with absurdely huge, thick, form, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty spicy, grassy and minimally floral, hoppy as well as biscuity, pale malty aroma, hints of unripe yellow stone fruit, some honeydew melon, a touch of quince, whiffs of chamomile. Taste is dry, yeasty spicy, bready malty, minimally tart-ish veggy and herbal bitter, sweet-ish and floral overtones. Watery texture, papery palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. A handful of rather strange flavours accompany an otherwise quite mediocre Pale Ale - nothing to skitter away, not attracting either.

The follow-up to the infamous Klootzakske, and again these guys (working with Fort Lapin in Bruges - and it apparently takes seven of them to come up with completely worn formulas) could not resist the sexual innuendo disgracing the label of their first beer, with a name that means as much as 'horny slut' and depicting female breasts. This may well be intended as an "ode to the Klootzakske topwijven" (indeed the seven spouses behind the abovementioned guys), it remains inappropriate and potentially offensive to do so, a premise filling me with suspicion. Inches thick, foamy, cobweb-lacing, eggshell-white, rocky head towering over a misty peach blonde beer with 'dirty' pale orangey hue. Aroma initially muffled by all that foam, but then releasing impressions of soggy old bread, damp straw, cooked turnip, peach, moist jute bags, cooked apple, honey, banana peel, brown soap, tomato soup gone sour, cloves, puddle water. Fruity onset, sweetish but not sweet, hinting at peach, pear and a bit of banana, sourish touch accentuated by lively carbonation, quite minerally; soft, supple body, soggy rusk- and bread crust-like malts with a slight caramelly edge and a thin layer of residual honeyish sweetness on top, while the fruity esters continue well into a moderately hoppy finish, floral and softly bitter, notably earthy and even 'dirty', mingling with clove-like phenols and bready yeastiness. Some thin residual sweetness remains till the last drop but sugars are not so much the issue here: there is something vaguely 'off' to the nose, as in soup going sour, and even if it remains vague, it still manages to irritate me a bit throughout the bottle. The redeeming feature here is that earthy, noble hop bitterness, lasting for quite a while, albeit in a gentle manner; as for the four different grains used here: barley is obvious of course as always, rye adds a grey bread-like spicy note but very lightly so, spelt adds a dim kind of grainy spiciness but also very lightly, and the corn flakes add a certain amount of faint creaminess which this beer does not even need. A regular blonde, in all, as there are a dime a dozen, dull and predictable like its masculine predecessor. And still the imagery of these two beers bothers me more than the blandness and tediousness of the beers themselves... "Grow up" is likely the first advice I shall give these guys if I ever come across them at a beer festival - this 'Hete Klinke' is hardly a compliment to their wives, if you ask me.

T: medium malty base, exotic fruits, lychee, bit strawberries, candy sugar, bit herbal, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, bit more on the sweet side yet ok, enjoyed.
