Draft at Flink Gegist Festival ‘19.  Near black with a tan head.  Aroma of oak, scotch, chocolate, toffee and overripe dark fruits.  Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter.  Light full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Barrel subtiel, ietwat bitter. Goed dingetje wel.

Sampled draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Black with a small mocha head. Nose is touch harsh, sharp alcohol layered on top bit crude but far from as crude as some beers are with mocha, chocolate and praline underneath. The barrel is integrated far better in the taste, chocolate, mocha, some booze in the back but nice thick velvety chocolate and low nuts praline chocolate taste. Creamy rich. Enjoyed it surprisingly quite a bit more than the bourbon version but that one had no real BA character, here the alcohol is also bit more layered on top but it has a smoother richer chocolate profile.
