At least three different yeasts have participated in the fermentation of this beer, which have torn the classic Bronze Age town in three separate tanks, including Tokaj wine barrels, for at least a year. A couple of months before bottling, the material is combined in one drink, additionally holding it on oak chips. The result is not only a wine-dry, but also a Nordic-wild bouquet with pronounced metabolic flavors of various yeasts. On the other hand, contact with oak in the form of both chips and barrels pleasantly softens the aftertaste.

Bottle at Labietis, Riga. Complex and woody, sourish and tart. No hops used. A bit herbal ofcourse with fruity notes. Tart sourish finish, not boozy but you feel the abv. Very nice.

Honey in the nose, and honey at the tip of the tongue and so forming a sweet outline. But inside the outline is a quite aggressive wheaty and berry sour with some very soft herbal/vegetal notes and oak barrel character. Medium body, low carb, strong sour.

Smell - medium strong, malt, caramel, apple, herbal, sweet, nice. Foam- thin, sour, cranberry, some malt, some faint honey, and more sourness, lemon. Head is tiny, pretty much non-existent white color. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, the label is simple. Cloudy orange color, weak carbonation. From- snifter Taste - sour, sour-sweet, some malt, cranberry, apple, acidic tones. There is something I like in back, but it just gets killed by this sour-sweet thing over it. Not for me.

Little head, gone in seconds; fully hazy reddish ochre beer. Lactic acid, diverse fruits, old wine barrels, waft of cinnamon, improbably complex nose. Sourish, vinous, old wine barrels, Sherry Amontillado. Taste is even more complex, mind-blowing. Quite slick, even a tad sticky, but good carbonation and the acidity make it easily drinkable. This is truly superb!

Pours à unclear amberblonde. Small, mediu-short living white head. Scent is familiar gaismas ragana, tad more oaky. Taste is more tart, obviously. Brett is recognizable. The sharp, spiced flavor of gaismas is very recognizable. The tokaji barrel is mild ( tokaji BA remains my favorite). I do prefer this over the regular tho. Lactic sourness in the start, going into Brett, biscuits, spices, sharp ( Near metallic, but not quite). Very complex. Malty, sweet (honey) tart finish. Damn unique, as to be expected.
